A Northwest side medical company specializing in equipment sales is currently looking for a billing and collection specialist, who is responsible for collecting, posting and managing account payments.  The position also includes, processing claims and following up with insurance companies for payment in a timely manner.

·       High School graduate required, some college preferred

·       One year of experience working in a medical setting a plus

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook); ability to work on             two screens

Tiffany Thompson was the keynote speaker for the Brown Mackie College Graduation Ceremony on Saturday 10/5/2016, at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. Ms. Thompson gave an inspirational speech with three useful points: believe in yourself, the courage to take action and giving back—community involvement.  Close to 200 students graduated yesterday.

This comes on the heel of the news that Brown Mackie College will cease to enroll new students in Indianapolis and eventually close its downtown campus as part of a nationwide drawdown for the for-profit college chain.The decision was “a response to changes in regional demand and conditions in the education sector,” said Bob Greenlee, a spokesperson for parent company Education Management Corp., which besides Brown Mackie also runs Argosy University, the Art Institutes and South University.

Plus, it was a good opportunity to see how our employees work and to identify how we can improve our service,” said Thompson.
