Compensation: $14 to $16.50 Hourly (plus commission)

Client Profile: Indiana based company specializing in providing commercial maintenance services.

Job Summary: The crew leader is responsible for leading a crew of 5 to 10 members and maintains the cleanliness of interstate highways and roadways for the safety of traveling public. You must have a valid driver license and be very comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.

Duties

Directly assist with leading commercial maintenance crew of 5 to 8+ employees. Simply setting a good example. Work with supervisor in planning and achieving job goals.
Cover for supervisor for scheduled or unscheduled time off.
Work is performed outside in varying weather conditions- hot or cold, wind, rain and snow, dust, pollen, rough/rugged grass and plants, trash

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of experience maintaining roads, operating equipment including self- propelled broom, roller and or mower
Prior traffic control training a plus
Must have a valid driver license if in a Supervisor role
Comfortable working in all weather conditions; using hands, ability to lift up to 50 pounds; climbing, reaching kneeling, etc.
