DaMar Staffing is looking to hire a preschool teacher who will help young children prepare for kindergarten through play, interactive activities, and games. As a teacher, you must be able to connect well with small children creatively. You will also need good writing and speaking skills to talk to parents and colleagues about children’s progress.

Job Description and Summary

Seeking out energetic and eager professionals that love working with 2- to 5-year-olds and have a passion to teach children new and amazing things daily.
You will handle communicating and interacting with children, staff, parents, and the public pleasantly and respectfully.
The ability to write developmentally and age-appropriate, lesson plans that include individualization for each day
Keeping the cleanliness and organization of the classroom is a must. And you will need to be comfortable with routine tasks such as diaper changing, feeding, moving toys, washing laundry and dishes.

Salary/Pay
Starting at $16.00 to $17.00 hourly based on experience, nongroup health insurance, and benefits offered with incentives

Qualifications and Duties

Must hold a high school diploma/GED; CDA infant/toddler is preferred. An associate's degree in Early Childhood education is a plus.
At least 1-2 years of experience working with children in a childcare or school setting and a CPR Certification is preferred
Must be willing to pursue additional education as required by ongoing regulations, such as effective communication and safety practices for infants and toddlers, etc.
Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PP, Outlook)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, other shifts TBD
